About

The Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery is a contemporary art museum on the campus of Skidmore College and is open to the public. Known for innovative exhibitions that draw attention to living artists or that cross disciplines, the Tang Teaching Museum also has a robust publications program of exhibition catalogues and more than 120 public events each year, including artist talks such as the Dunkerley Dialogues, concerts such as the Upbeat on the Roof summer series, family programs like Family Saturdays, tours by Tang Guides and curators, screenings in the Whole Grain: Experiments in Film & Video series, and much more. Opened in 1935, the New York State Bottling Plant produced four varieties of Saratoga mineral waters until 1970. It is now home to the Saratoga Automobile Museum.
